Trevor is also the Honorary Chairman of Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame and a Governor of the Canadian Olympic Foundation. An Officer of the Order of Canada and Queen’s Counsel for Ontario, he has been awarded honorary Doctors of Laws by both the University of Waterloo and the University of King’s College at Dalhousie – where he was Chancellor from 1996 to 2001. Trevor was a member of the Senate of Canada from September 1990 to July 2009.
